Oatmeal raisin cookies: Abominations or a delight?

   Raisins.
They're humiliated grapes, sure.

But how could anyone dismiss the cookies that I slaved over, that happen to taste delicious, just because of the presence of a few little raisins?

Those poor, little dears. Yummy, but they have no life and no juice.

  "They were once grapes!"
"Yes, but they aren't anymore," he said. "I'm sure your cookies are amazing. Delicious, even. But I cannot take anything with raisins!"

  What?!
If something is amazing and delicious and has only one con against it, shouldn't you perhaps try it without disnmissing outright? Otherwise, I would never have eaten chick-peas last night in the delicious dish my mommy had made.

   You're missing out, my friend.

Song of the Day: "I Dreamed A Dream" - Les Miserables [I sang/shrieked this song into Alexander's ear, today. He loved it.]
Verse of the Day: "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."
~ Romans 8:28
